The Administration Console
Included on every listing form is an administration console that allows Administrators, and other designated security roles that have permission to approve listings, to assign a listing to a User.
This gives you the advantage of setting up an inventory listing and then assigning the listing to a designated user who then takes ownership of the listing and has the ability to edit the listing.
Note: The admin console is only revealed to Administrators after the initial listing has been entered and is accessed through the Edit Listing icon (
).
When editing your form, you will see a line of code that appears as panel showroles="Administrators,Content Editors,Developers". To add your unique site editor security roles you simply replace Content Editor and Developers with your security roles that you have established on your DNN installation.
These options are on a per listing basis.
Assign Listing to User
This feature is helpful if an Administrator is creating a new listing on a user's behalf. By assigning the listing to a user, the user now takes control of that listing and has the ability to edit the listing.
When completed click
