An Affiliate Referrer field has been added to assign an Affiliate to a particular listing. This will be helpful if you want to track you is selling listings on your behalf.
Easy Installation. Business Directory now installs several choices of XMod Forms, Xmod Templates, and supporting image, style sheet, and JavaScript files using the XMod packaging installation proceedure.
Sponsor Type section has been re-written to show various degrees of sponsorship such as Platinum Sponsors, Gold Sponsors, Silver Sponsors, Contest Sponsors, and Content Contributors
Several new forms and templates have been added to allow the Administrator to decide to allow listings to be added to a single category, multiple categories, or a category and a sub-category. You can also select forms that allow video uploading or no video selection.
Beginning with Business Directory 6.0, all DNN professor applications will have available a Test Lab and Product Training Center to aid you in installation and configuration. Product Forums are readily available at the DNNprofessor.com website.

Business Directory has been configured so your client (the listing agent) has control of adding and editing their own listing. As administrator, you have full control of reviewing the listing and making the decision to approve it as a standard or enhanced listing.
With Business Directory You Can:
Create unique listing categories. Multiple forms allow you to choose if you want the listing party to add their listing to a single category, multiple categories, or add their listing to a category that has sub-categories.
Make an inquiry directly to the listed company
Show images and descriptions - Images are automatically resized to present a uniform sizing of your module
Set listings to be Standard or Enhanced. This gives you to have free minimal listings or monetize with an Enhanced listing this reveals more information and a full detail page.
Show three types of video presentations - Business Directory is configured to allow videos to be uploaded to your portal hosting server, view videos that are installed on Amazon S3 hosting services, or view videos from YouTube. You can also elect to use an installed form that does not allow video uploads by the listing party.
Set an expiration date and integrate subscription payments with Ventrian Subscription Tools, DataSprings Dynamic Registration, or PayPal
Show store hours - Optionally decide to show store hours for weekdays and weekends
Show images as thumbnails, clickable links, or a slide show
Show business contact information which allows for three address fields, City, State, Postal Code, phone information, accepted credit cards, and optionally show a Google map of the business location. Note: provisions are made to add non-US addresses.
Optionally show ratings and reviews on a per listing basis
As an Administrator you can also add a listing and then assign the listing to another user. This will then allow the new user to have edit rights on that listing.
